Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

TechFive IT LLC (“TechFive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at t5it.com or engage with our services.

Notice at Collection. We collect the categories of personal information described in Section 1 to operate our website, respond to inquiries, deliver our services, and measure how our site is used. We do notsell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”). See Section 6 for your California privacy rights.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and job title submitted through our contact form.
  • Business information — company name, size, and industry when requesting a quote or assessment.
  • Communications — messages, feedback, and other information you send to us via our contact form, email, or phone.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website we use our own first-party analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party visitor-identification (“person de-anonymization”) tools on this website.

  • Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type.
  • Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, UTM campaign parameters, and basic interaction signals (such as whether a page was clicked or scrolled).
  • First-party cookies and identifiers — see Section 5.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide requested services.
  • Schedule consultations and assessments.
  • Send service-related communications such as appointment confirmations.
  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
  • Send marketing communications where permitted (you may opt out at any time).

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or share (for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We disclose information only to the service providers that help us operate our website and business, and only as needed for them to perform services for us under contract. These include:

  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Supabase — database and storage for our website and analytics data.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional and marketing email.
  • ipinfo.io — IP-address-based location and organization lookup used to understand, at a general level, the types of businesses visiting our site. (We do not run this lookup for visitors who signal an opt-out — see Section 5.)
  • ConnectWise ScreenConnect — secure remote-support sessions, only when you initiate a support session with us.

We may also disclose information:

  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

4. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies, Analytics & Your Choices

Our site uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser-storage identifiers for our own analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

  • t5_vid — a randomly generated visitor identifier used to recognize a returning browser for analytics (persists up to 24 months).
  • t5_la / session identifiers — short-lived values used to group page views into a single visit.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track. We honor browser opt-out signals. If your browser sends a GPC or Do Not Track signal, we do not set a persistent cross-session cookie, we do not store your IP address, and we do not run the ipinfo.io organization lookup; a temporary session-only identifier is used instead. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.
  • Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; nonetheless, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 5.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone, IP address), commercial/professional information (e.g., company name, industry), and internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., pages viewed). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at helpdesk@t5it.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. Your Rights (Other Jurisdictions)

Depending on your location, you may also have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at helpdesk@t5it.com.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Contact form submissions are retained for the duration of any resulting business relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
