Why Sovereign AI

Put AI to work within your boundaries.

Sensitive business records, proprietary knowledge, and internal policies shape how you can use AI. Start with those requirements and build the environment around them.

A private AI workspace

Give employees an approved place to ask questions, summarize documents, and draft content using models running in your environment. Set access and usage rules around the work they actually do.

Answers from internal knowledge

Make procedures, policies, technical documentation, and project files easier to use. Search approved sources in plain language, with citations and permissions scoped to each team.

Managed Agents with local processing

Use local models for selected document and operational workflows. We evaluate the model against the job, define the systems it can access, and require human approval for sensitive actions.

A private workspace can be useful on its own. When the workload calls for an agent, we evaluate local processing alongside the permissions, integrations, and human oversight that make the complete workflow work.

Governance

Control the whole path your data takes.

The model is one part of the system. Documents, identity, integrations, logs, and backups all need to follow the same agreed boundaries.

Explore the controls that shape your deployment

Define where prompts, files, document indexes, logs, and backups are processed and stored. External connections are documented and approved as part of the deployment scope.

Your requirements determine the configuration. Connections and administrator access are agreed before deployment.

What does “local” mean for your deployment?

In a fully local processing setup, models and document processing run within your environment, with storage and backups inside the agreed boundary. A connection to Teams, Slack, a hosted model, or another external service creates a data path that must be reviewed. We document the complete configuration before enabling those connections.

Deployment

Built around your requirements.

We scope each deployment against your data policies, existing infrastructure, capacity needs, and operating model.

Your hardware. At your office or data center.

On your premises

Run AI on hardware in your office or data center. We assess your existing servers, network, storage, and backup arrangements, and recommend additional capacity where the workload requires it.

In a private cloud you control

Run privately hosted models in your own cloud environment. We scope region, access, networking, storage, and provider dependencies so you can assess the deployment against your requirements.

Model quality, simultaneous users, document volume, response time, and resilience determine the configuration. Hardware is assessed and quoted separately. The right fit is proven against your work.

Fully managed

One team to deploy it and keep it working.

You set the business requirements and approval boundaries. Techfive manages the agreed AI environment after launch.

Deployment & access

Infrastructure setup, identity integration, model and knowledge permissions, and documented data paths.

Monitoring & maintenance

System monitoring, security patches, configuration maintenance, and model updates tested against your workloads.

Backups & support

Backup and recovery arrangements, retention and logging settings, and technical support within the agreed scope.

Available independently of managed IT. We can coordinate with your internal team or existing provider, or combine AI and managed IT with Techfive. Responsibilities and administrator access are agreed before deployment.

Getting started

Start with one useful workload.

Your first consultation is free. Any pilot, hardware, deployment, and ongoing management are quoted before you commit.

  1. Discover

    Define the requirements

Start with a free consultation about your data, workflows, users, and policies. We assess your infrastructure and identify the workload worth proving first.

  2. Validate

    Scope and prove the fit

You receive a proposal covering any pilot, hardware, deployment, and ongoing management. An agreed pilot tests the workload, model quality, capacity, and data boundaries before wider rollout.

  3. Operate

    Deploy and manage

We configure the environment, identity, permissions, logging, and backups, then help your team adopt it. Monitoring, patching, model evaluation, and support continue after launch.

Local support

Private AI, with a team you can reach.

Available across our existing service areas. On-site work and remote management access are coordinated to your project requirements.

FAQ

Questions about private AI.

Infrastructure, data, support, and cost, explained before you start.

It means using AI while retaining control over the infrastructure, models, data paths, access, and operations. Techfive deploys and manages AI on your own infrastructure or in a private cloud environment you control. The configuration follows your customer-specific security and business requirements.
We assess that before recommending a configuration. Model size, document volume, simultaneous users, response-time expectations, and resilience needs determine the hardware. Existing servers may fit some workloads; additional hardware is recommended and quoted separately when needed.
That depends on the agreed configuration. A fully local processing setup uses local models and document processing, with storage, logs, and backups kept within the agreed boundary. Connecting an external model, search service, business application, or other integration creates an additional data path. We document and review those paths with you before enabling them.
On-premises deployment runs on hardware at your premises or data center. Private cloud runs in a cloud environment you control, with its location, access, and provider dependencies included in the scope. Both can run privately hosted models. We recommend the deployment against your requirements, including infrastructure control, connectivity, capacity, and cost.
Yes, for workloads where the local model and available infrastructure meet the requirements. A private workspace can also be useful on its own. Agents that work in Teams, Slack, email, or other external applications still interact with those services, even when model processing is local. We assess and document the complete workflow rather than assuming local processing makes every connected system local.
Compliance depends on your use case, policies, people, and the complete deployment. Local processing can support your governance requirements, alongside identity controls, access permissions, retention, audit logging, and operational safeguards. We scope those controls to your requirements; self-hosting alone is not a compliance certification.
No. Sovereign AI is available independently of our managed IT service. We coordinate with your internal IT team or existing provider and define responsibility for infrastructure, access, backups, and support in the proposal. You can also combine the services under one Techfive team.
The initial consultation is free. Any pilot, hardware, deployment work, and ongoing management are scoped and quoted for your requirements before you commit. Ongoing management covers the agreed environment, including monitoring, patching, permissions, model updates, backups, and support.
We offer the service across our existing service areas: Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Joplin and the Four State Area, Tulsa, and Northwest Arkansas. On-site installation and ongoing support arrangements are coordinated per project, with remote management where the agreed access policies allow it.
